East Lake Golf Club is a private facility located approximately 5 miles east of downtown Atlanta. Established in 1904, East Lake was the home course of the legendary golfer Bobby Jones and much of its Clubhouse serves as a tribute to his accomplishments.
Over the years, the golf course has hosted many golf tournaments including the 1950 U.S. Women’s Amateur, 1963 Ryder Cup, and 2001 U.S. Men’s Amateur. It is now the permanent home of the TOUR Championship, the culminating event of the PGA TOUR Playoffs for the FedEx Cup.
Proceeds from operations, as well as charitable donations from the club’s corporate membership, support the East Lake Foundation and its remarkable redevelopment project.
With any questions regarding the event, please contact Tracy Ogrean at 646-454-5913 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
All services provided by East Lake are complimentary. Therefore, East Lake Golf Club has a NO TIPPING policy for all employees. This includes the Locker Room Attendants, Caddies, Golf Professional Staff, Valet Attendants, and Food & Beverage Staff.
Bermuda-length shorts, collared shirts, and slacks are suitable attire. Tennis shorts, cut-offs, tee shirts, gym shorts, and denim are not considered proper attire. Caps should be worn facing forward and shirt tails should be tucked in. Golfers are requested to remove hats inside the Clubhouse. It is the member’s responsibility to inform their guests of the club’s policy on golf attire.
East Lake is a walking-only golf club. Golf Carts are available only to those who have a State Issued Handicap Certificate. The pace of play for groups of 4 at East Lake is 4 ½ hours.
There is a 25-pound weight limit on golf bags. Should a golf bag exceeds this limit, a lighter weight bag may be substituted at no charge.
Cellular Phone use is not permitted on the golf course or in The Grill Room.
